Hallie, A-1 Blogger El Supremo

Wanted to thank Hallie for her first post to the blog. Also good to hear that ice skating is on its way out over there. :)

I added a link to Deb's blog. I had no idea, but she knew more about blogging than I did. She helped me out with getting this one up and running. Take a look.

HAHA! I am indeed the A-1 Primo Uber Blogger. A whole new world of technology has now been opened to me. Oh sure, I have to use the account and password Sean has set up as I couldn't even begin to do it on my own, but hey--what did you expect?

Big news from the frozen North--I could actually walk across the parking lot at work today in real, human sized steps. Not the usual winter gingerly walk that I have to as our parking lot is coated in ice. Spring must be on the way!

For posting a picture, you first click the picture icon just to the left of the Preview link at right corner of are you are typing in.
Select "Add an image from your computer". Find a jpg file. Then choose a layout. Then click Upload Image button. NOTE: you may be asked to "agree to the terms" by clicking the checkbox, and then hit the Upload button. Next thing you know, your picture should show up in the area your are typing in.

Debs business

Here is a link to Debs business . She started it 4-5 years ago, and has done excellent with it. Check it out. All but two pictures are of our actual house. Any takers?

Here is a the BLOG I spoke of

First time I have ever blogged, actually, let alone try setting one up. I had started by deploying a blog tool called WordPress onto our personal website, but then after coming to my senses, and with some guidance, I chose to use blogspot.com .

Blogspot.com is a Google product. It requires a Google account login in order for you to post messages. IF you have a Google account, send me your email address of that account, and I will add/invite you as an author to this blog (You must be an author in order to post messages!). Otherwise, I have created a generic Google account for all of you to use: boltmans@google.com, and the password is "boltmans" WITH a ZERO instead of the letter O. All lowercase.

Go to http://seanboltman.blogspot.com

You should see "Sign In" towards the upper right. Click it. Sign in using your google account, or the generic I mention above.

Logging in will leave you at a general Google website, so go back to http://seanboltman.blogspot.com. NOTE: IF you use the Back button to get there, hit the browser refresh button. If that made no sense, what I just said, do this: Close your browser window, open a new one, then go to http://seanboltman.blogspot.com

You should see, now that you are logged in, a "New Post" link up in the top right, next to where "Sign In" was. If you have this, then you have "arrived". You can post messages, and if you wish, include pictures with them (using the little picture icon in that edit panel you are given).

You will also notice that on EXISTING posts to the blog, that you can click on the COMMENTS word at the bottom of the post and add whatever you want to that message.

Ready set go. Use our traditional email connections we have established to work through issues you run up against.

Ohhhh... righty mate... there is one other brother we forget to pull pull into our clan. He's a quiet one though... don't expect much out of him. Too much rum. He's pretty to look at though, eh? Taught him everything he knows.
